Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates NBD has globally implemented the Enterprise Payment Hub, as part of its AED 1 billion ($272 million) digital transformation objective

The multi-entity and multi-currency payment hub will enable the bank to introduce new and existing payment innovations across all Emirates NBD markets and entities, according to a press release on Tuesday.

First launched in Singapore in September 2019, the platform has now become fully operational across most of the bank's entities and markets, including for customers in the UAE, London, India, and Egypt and for all Emirates Islamic customers.

The hub will allow the bank to offer its customers tracking visibility for their payment transactions through gpi (Global Payment Initiative) integration.

The Group Chief Operating Officer at Emirates NBD, Abdulla Qassem, said: "The new platform enables Emirates NBD to rapidly deploy customised payments services in line with our commitment to simplifying everyday banking and creating rewarding customer journeys."
