Cairo – Mubasher: The board of directors of Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Co approved the appointment of Mamdouh Tawfik Ezzat Daraaz as an Executive Managing Director.

Daraaz has been appointed for a three-year term with a fixed salary of EGP 40,000, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Tuesday.

On a side note, the company said that it continues to operate normally despite the peaceful protests held by some workers against the shareholders’ decision to lower the bonuses of employees. 

During the first five months of fiscal year 2020/2021, the company reported net profits of EGP 465.13 million, up from EGP 632.94 million in the year-ago period.
