Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session on a positive note with the benchmark EGX30 index rising by 0.73% to 10,736 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI advanced by 1.01% to 2,082 points, while the EGX100 EWI climbed by 1.09% to 3,018 points.
Similarly, the EGX50 EWI increased by 1.61% to 2,193 points.
The market cap value grew by EGP 3.1 billion to close at EGP 642.166 billion.
Foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 9.7 million, while local and Arab investors were net sellers with about EGP 25,900 and EGP 9.7 million, respectively.
The market’s turnover amounted to EGP 1.21 billion after 447.47 million shares were exchanged through about 42,500 transactions.
