Cairo – Mubasher: The board of Emaar Misr for Development has approved to donate EGP 60 million to Tahya Misr (Long Live Egypt) Fund, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.

The donation aims to renovate and build schools and homes and enhance the infrastructure at Sidi Abdel Rahman city.

The board has also agreed on contributing to the President's initiative to import the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine by donating EGP 30 million to the Fund.

It is noteworthy to mention that during the first nine months of 2020, the company registered a 62% jump in its net profits to EGP 1.02 billion, compared to EGP 628.99 million, including minority shareholders’ rights.
