UAE - Mubasher: The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) has appointed Khaled Mohammed Balama Al Tameemi as a new Vice Governor effective on 1 February 2021.

With more than 30-year experience, Al Tameemi is a board member in the Central Bank, General Pension and Social Security Authority, and the Emirates Integrate Telecommunications Company (du), according to a press release on Tuesday.

Moreover, he had occupied the position of Executive Director of the Real Assets Department at Abu Dhabi Investment Council.

As the CBUAE's Vice Governor, Al Tameemi will supervise the execution of the Central Bank's objective to enhance monetary and financial stability to achieve sustainable economic growth.
