UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have resumed their upward performance by the end of Tuesday's trading session.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by 0.15% or 4.03 points to settle at 2,647.16 points by the end of Tuesday's trading session.

A total of 131.41 million shares were traded through 2,828 transactions valued at AED 182.45 million.

Dubai Insurance Company (DIN) led the rising stocks with 14.89%, while Al Sagr National Insurance Co (ASNIC) came on top of the losing stocks with 4.83%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up by around 0.12% to close Tuesday's session at 5,662.56 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.02 billion after 172.01 million shares had been exchanged through 3,284 transactions.

Abu Dhabi National Takaful Co (TKFL) topped the green zone with 6.73%, while Arkan Building Materialsled the red zone with 4.88%.
