Riyadh – Mubasher: Yanbu National Petrochemical Company (Yansab) announced resuming operations at its Olefins Plant on 15 February 2021 after completing the scheduled maintenance.

Maintenance work for the Ethylene Glycol plant is still ongoing and is expected to complete by the next week as was previously announced, according to a bourse filing on Monday.

Previously, the Tadawul-listed firm estimated the financial impact of this maintenance based on average prices at SAR 90 million, to be reduced by optimising the available inventory.

The financial impact will reflect during the first and second quarters of 2021.
