UAE stock markets end Wednesday in red zone
The benchmark index of the DFM went down 0.61%

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Wednesday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.61% or 16.01 points to settle at 2,594.49 points by the end of today's trading session.

A total of 112.22 million shares had been traded through 2,357 transactions valued at AED 156.13 million.

Ekttitab Holding topped the red zone with 4.09%, while Dubai Insurance Co (DIN) led the green zone with 2.18%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down by around 0.49% to close Wednesday at 5,636.24 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.07 billion after 211.01 million shares had been exchanged through 3,587 transactions.

Al Wathba National Insurance Co headed the red zone with 4.95%, while Easy Lease Motorcycle Rental came on top of the green zone with 6.52%.
