Dubai – Mubasher: Aramex has received a judgment from the court of the first instance in Morocco in favor of a customer that has claimed around $40 million as compensation for the loss of goods and damages related to the fire incident at a warehouse facility.

The company intends to appeal the ruling before the competent court, according to the company's disclosure to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Monday.

In addition, the company will evaluate all available legitimate options to deal with the developments related to the lawsuit.

In September, a fire broke out at Aramex's warehouse facility in Casablanca in Morocco, causing some damages at the facility, but there were no injuries or fatalities.
