Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday’s trading session on a varied note as the main EGX30 index was the sole decliner by 0.03% to end at 10,564 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI climbed by 2.28% to 2,013 points, while the EGX100 EWI rose by 1.81% to 2,963 points.

Likewise, the EGX50 EWI advanced by 1.44% to 2,063 points.

The market cap value grew by EGP 2.62 billion to close at EGP 652.51 billion on Thursday from EGP 649.89 billion on Wednesday.

The market’s turnover reached EGP 1 billion after 463.96 million shares were exchanged through around 36,970 transactions.

Local investors were net buyers with EGP 103.58 million, while Arab and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 21.53 million and EGP 82.04 million, respectively.
