UAE appoints new CBUAE governor
Al Tameemi will replace Abdulhamid M. Saeed Alahmadi

UAE - Mubasher: Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE President, has issued a decree to appoint Khaled Mohamed Balama Al Tameemi as the new governor of the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

Al Tameemi, who occupied the position of the CBUAE's vice governor, will replace Abdulhamid M. Saeed Alahmadi.

The new governor has over 30-year experience in the banking field and financial services across various entities, including being a board member in the central bank, General Pension and Social Security Authority, and the Emirates Integrate Telecommunications Company (du).
