Riyadh – Mubasher: Advanced Petrochemical Company said operations of its propylene and polypropylene plants have resumed on 11 April after completing all required routine and preventive maintenance, according to a disclosure to Tadawul on Sunday.

This step came in accordance with the occupational safety and health standards approved by Advanced Petrochemical.

The company clarified that there would be no material or significant change in the costs associated with the maintenance works.

Advanced Petrochemical noted that the expected financial impact of shutting down the plants would reflect on the income statements of the first two quarters of 2021. This would be based on the expected prices of feedstock and polypropylene.

The company earlier said its two facilities would undergo periodic scheduled maintenance starting 11 March.
