Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday’s trading session on a varied note.

The main EGX30 index rose by 0.27% to 10,143 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 0.68% to 1,820 points.

Meanwhile, the EGX100 EWI declined by 0.64% to 2,716 points, whereas the EGX50 EWI decreased by 0.59% to close at 1,899 points.

The market cap value grew by EGP 412.3 million to register EGP 630.878 billion.

Local and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 44.4 million and EGP 27.83 million, while Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 72.27 million.

The market’s turnover stood at EGP 898.5 million after 402.14 million shares were exchanged through 29,744 transactions.
