Cairo – Mubasher: Gold prices in Egypt rose on the back of the increased prices of the precious metal globally.
The 21-karat gold increased by EGP 7 to EGP 779 per gram on Monday, while the per-gram prices of 18- and 24-karat gold advanced to EGP 669 and EGP 871, respectively, Nady Naguib, Secretary-General of the Gold Division at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC), told Mubasher.
Globally, the price of gold climbed to $1,788 per ounce on Monday.
