UAE stock markets close Tuesday on varied note
The benchmark index of the DFM went down 0.31%

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Tuesday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.31% to settle at 2,624.27 points by the end of Tuesday's session.

A total of 160.48 million shares were traded through 1,956 transactions valued at AED 84.61 million.

Emirates Refreshments led the losing stocks with 9.92%, while Al Ramz Corporation Investment and Development headed the rising stocks with 7.25%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up by around 0.87% to close Tuesday's trading session at 6,155.41 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.32 billion after 160.29 million shares had been exchanged through 2,173 transactions.

Commercial Bank International (CBI) came on top of the green zone with 14.92%, while National Takaful Co (Watania) led the red zone with 8.89%.
