Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) has deployed the UAE's first 5G leased line for China State Construction Engineering CorporationMiddle East (CSCEC ME) office in the Dubai Industrial City.

The leased line will meet service level demands for critical end-use applications, ensuring high download and upload speeds and complete control for users through ample network coverage and high capacity, according to a press release on Wednesday.

The deployment of the leased line will enable telecom networks to be equipped with dedicated access services to provide high-speed connections to areas where fibre networks are not available.

The Chief Technology Officer of du, Saleem Al Blooshi, said: "The need for seamless connectivity has resulted in increased demand for additional network capacity as well as robust network solutions."

In the meantime, the CIO of CSCEC ME, Zhu Jianchao, commented: "With a leased line in our office premises, we can facilitate high-speed communication amongst teams which enhances employee experience and ultimately customer experience."
