Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) is receiving interest from major Chinese investors who are reportedly in talks to acquire a stake in the oil giant, Reuters first reported.

The news comes shortly after the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman revealed in TV interview plans to sell 1% of Aramco to an international oil company soon.

China Investment Corporation (CIC), a Chinese sovereign wealth fund, is reportedly among potential investors.

Recent reports suggested that Aramco is considering selling a stake in its natural gas pipeline network to generate cash and attract international investors.
