Dubai – Mubasher: Aramex announced the resignation of Bashar Obeid from his position as CEO, due to personal reasons, following 28 years of service in the company.  

Obeid will continue to serve as CEO until a successor is named, after which he will act as an advisor to the company, the logistics and transportation service provider said in a bourse disclosure on Sunday.

In 2020, the company's net profits fell by 42.7% to AED 285.014 million, compared to AED 497.4 million in 2019.
