DFM, ADX end Sunday in green on rising blue chips

UAE – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 0.71% to close at 2,624 points at the end of Sunday’s session on the back of rising blue chips. 

The market’s turnover amounted to AED 87.45 million after 84.5 million shares were exchanged.

Emaar Properties advanced by 2.94%, while Emaar Development rose by 3.63%.

Meanwhile, Emaar Malls and Damac Properties increased by 3.26% and 1.66%, respectively.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index added 0.5% to end at 6,076 points.

A total of 122.52 million shares were traded at a turnover of AED 929.39 million.

First Abu Dhabi Bank grew by 0.84%, while Emirates Telecommunications Group and International Holding Co increased by 0.94% and 0.22%, respectively.

On the other hand, Agthia Group retreated by 1.43%, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and Aldar Properties slid by 0.21% and 0.28%, in that order.
