Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is currently building a new drinking water plant in Badr City at a cost of EGP 530 million to meet the growing demand in the city, the Minister of Housing, Assem El-Gazzar, said.
The water plant will have six pumps, each with a capacity of 520 litres per second to ensure a stable supply of drinking water to residents in new areas, Head of Badr City Development Authority, Ammar Mandour, said in a statement on Tuesday.
It will also include two reservoirs with a capacity of 10,000 cubic metres, Mandour added.
