Cairo – Mubasher: The net profits of Al Ezz for Ceramics and Porcelain (GEMMA) jumped to EGP 38.628 million during the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, compared to EGP 5.55 million in the year-ago period.

The company's sales rose to EGP 323.93 million in Q1-21 from EGP 251.37 million in Q1-20, according to the company's disclosure to the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday.

It is noteworthy to mention that in 2020, the company turned to net losses of EGP 13.65 million, versus net profits of EGP 52.47 million a year earlier.
