UAE - Mubasher: DIFC FinTech Hive’s AccelerateHer programme will support 40 female participants in its third edition, more than twice compared to 14 in 2020.

The current edition seeks to empower women across the financial services industry with six months to three years of experience, according to a press release on Sunday.

AccelerateHer will run in two cohorts for the first time through a hybrid programme structure, comprising virtual and in-person elements, with the first cohort already selecting 20 candidates from financial institutions.

Launched in 2019 to develop female talent in financial technology and innovation sectors, the programme has supported around 30 participants up-to-date with one-to-one mentorship, workshops, and networking opportunities.
