Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince inaugurates SAR 4bn projects
The projects included six housing developments comprising 3,797 units

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has inaugurated eight housing and medical projects at a total cost exceeding SAR 4 billion, state-run news agency SPA reported.

The developments aim to serve the Ministry of Defense's personnel in several areas across the Kingdom.

The projects included six housing developments comprising 3,797 units in Hafr Al Batin, the Northwestern Province, Al Taif, Sharorah, Jazan, and the Eastern Province.

The medical developments meanwhile included setting up a cardiology centre at the Armed Forces Hospital in the Northwestern Province with a capacity of up to 130 beds.

This was in addition to expanding Prince Sultan Armed Forces Hospital in Madinah to raise the capacity to 100 beds while adding 10 units for the intensive care unit (ICU). The medical projects also included equipping operations rooms, emergency departments, radiology, laboratories, pharmacy, and a blood bank with the latest medical devices.
