Cairo - Mubasher: Qatar National Bank Al Ahli (QNB Al Ahli) recorded consolidated net profits of EGP 4.09 billion in the first half (H1) of 2021, up by 6.6% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 3.84 billion in H1-20, including minority shareholders' rights.

The net income from interest, fees, and commissions increased to EGP 8.35 billion in the January-June period, compared to EGP 8.31 billion in the corresponding period in 2020, the bank said in a bourse disclosure on Sunday.

Moreover, the standalone net profits rose to EGP 3.83 billion in H1-21 from EGP 3.80 billion in H1-20. 

During the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, QNB Al Ahli recorded net profits of EGP 1.96 billion, up from EGP 1.87 billion in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights.
