Riyadh – Mubasher: Herfy Food Services Company registered net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 52.14 million during the first half (H1) of 2021, against losses of SAR 9.1 million in H1-20.

Earnings per share stood at SAR 0.81 in the January-June 2021 period, versus a loss per share of SAR 0.14 in the same period last year, according to the initial financial results on Tuesday.

Sales surged 35% to SAR 631.09 million in H1-21 from SAR 467.02 million in H1-20.

As for the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, Herfy also turned profitable at SAR 26.67 million, against net losses of SAR 34.23 million in Q2-20.

Sales jumped annually to SAR 319.98 million in Q2-21 from SAR 170.09 million in Q2-20.

On a quarterly basis, the net profits in Q2-21 were higher by 4.7% than SAR 25.46 million in Q1-21. The sales were also higher by 2.8% than SAR 311.11 million.

It is worth noting that Herfy appointed Sam Mohamed Bader as the CEO of the company last June.
