EGX30 falls below 10,600 pts amid local selloffs
The market cap value grew by EGP 1.65 billion

Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday's trading session on a varied note amid local selloffs and Arab and foreign purchases. 

The main EGX30 index fell by 0.39% to 10,561 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI advanced by 2.18% to 2,474 points. 

In the meantime, the EGX100 climbed by 1.46% to 3,428 points and the EGX50 EWI rose by 0.77% to 2,214 points. 

The market cap value grew by EGP 1.65 billion to stand at EGP 679.65 billion on Thursday, compared to EGP 678 billion on Wednesday. 

The market's turnover reached EGP 1.6 billion after 426.79 million shares were exchanged through around 50,820 transactions.

Local investors were net sellers with EGP 47.51 million, while Arab and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 8.41 million and EGP 39.1 million, respectively.
