ADX records longest winning streak in 4M; DFM edges up at Tuesday's close
Emaar Malls climbed by 2.07% and Dana Gas rose by 1.35%

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets ended Tuesday's trading session on a positive note. 

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 0.19% to end the mid-week trading session at 2,795.68 points. 

The market's turnover amounted to AED 147.61 million after 98.66 million shares were exchanged. 

Dubai Islamic Bank advanced by 0.2%, while Emaar Properties and Emaar Malls climbed by 0.75% and 2.07%, respectively.

On the other hand, Shuaa Capital retreated by 3.14%, whereas Union Properties and Emirates NBD fell by 0.41% and 0.74%, in that order. 

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index ended higher for the eighth successive session, registering the longest rising streak in four months. The index edged up by 0.39% to close at 7,433.38 points. 

 

A total of 310.56 million shares were exchanged at a turnover of AED 1.28 billion. 

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank increased by 0.7% and 0.18%, respectively, while Agthia Group, Dana Gas, and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) have respective increases of 0.8%, 1.35%, and 1.08%.
