Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Media Production City Co (EMPC) posted consolidated net profits of EGP 78.45 million during the first half (H1) of 2021. 

Over the January-June period, the company's revenues stood at EGP 280.65 million, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday. 

No results were reported for the corresponding period as the company has not issued its semi-annual consolidated financial results before.

As for standalone business, EMPC recorded net profits of EGP 87.55 million in H1-21, up from EGP 51.67 million in H1-20.

in the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, the company logged net profits of EGP 25.57 million and revenues of EGP 125.16 million.
