Riyadh – Mubasher: L’azurde Company for Jewelry turned to net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 18.2 million in the first six months of 2021, against net losses of SAR 67.8 million in the same period last year.

Earnings per share stood at SAR 0.42 in the first half (H1) of 2021, versus a loss per share of SAR 1.58 in H1-20, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.

Sales soared by 66.7% to SAR 1.02 billion in H1-21 from SAR 615.9 million in H1-20.

In the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, the company achieved net profits worth SAR 8 million, against losses of SAR 66.2 million in Q2-20.

Sales jumped 178% to SAR 475.4 million in Q2-20 from SAR 170.9 million in Q2-20.

On a quarterly basis, the net profits in Q2-21 were 21.5% lower than SAR 10.2 million in Q1-21, and the revenues shrank by 13.7% from SAR 551.4 million.
