Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of State for Military Production and the UAE’s M Glory Holding Company signed a partnership agreement to manufacture pickup vehicles with a bi-fuel system.

This step is in line with the government's efforts to transition towards clean energy, enhance the auto industry, and attract new investments to the country, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevine Gamea, said in a statement on Monday. 

Under the agreement, bi-fuel pickup vehicles will be manufactured under the name "EM" with an estimated production capacity of 12,000 vehicles per year. The production is expected to begin in the first half (H1) of 2022.
