Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Transport and Commercial Services Co (Egytrans) reported net profits of EGP 6.42 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, down by 33% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 9.57 million, the unaudited consolidated financial results showed. 

The company's revenues grew to EGP 123.5 million in the six-month period ended 30 June, compared to EGP 101.42 million in the prior-year period, according to a bourse disclosure on Tuesday. 

As for standalone business, Egytrans achieved net profits of EGP 14.7 million in H1-21, slightly up from EGP 14.43 million in H1-20. 

In the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, the company recorded a 98% YoY decline in its net profits to EGP 72,093, compared to EGP 3.68 million in Q1-20.
