Cairo – Mubasher: Contact Financial Holding reported a 71.1% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its consolidated net profits to EGP 227.755 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, compared to EGP 133.1 million, including minority shareholders' rights.

On the other hand, the revenues declined to EGP 749.17 million in the six-month period ended 30 June from EGP 2.26 billion in the corresponding period a year earlier, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Wednesday. 

Meanwhile, the standalone financial results showed net losses of EGP 423,528 in H1-21, versus net profits of EGP 5.47 million in H1-20. 

In the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, Contact Financial Holding achieved net profits of EGP 114.77 million, up from EGP 93.78 million in Q1-20, including minority shareholders’ rights.
