Cairo – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-Egypt (ADIB Egypt) recorded net profits of EGP 680.15 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, a 28% year-on-year (YoY) increase from EGP 530.57 million, including minority shareholders' rights.
The bank's net interest income rose to EGP 1.64 billion in the January-June period from EGP 1.58 billion in the prior-year period, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
As for standalone business, ADIB Egypt logged net profits of EGP 640.54 million in H1-21, up from EGP 509.58 million in H1-20.
In the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, ADIB Egypt posted consolidated net profits of EGP 332.22 million, up from EGP 230.35 million in Q1-20, including minority shareholders' rights.
