Cairo – Mubasher: Suez Canal Bank achieved net profits of EGP 240.84 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, an increase of 7.5% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 223.9 million.

The bank's net interest income edged up to EGP 763.5 million in the six-month period ended 30 June, compared to EGP 761.98 million in the prior-year period, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday. 

During the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, Suez Canal Bank logged EGP 115.72 million in net profits, slightly up from EGP 114.35 million in Q1-20.
