Cairo – Mubasher: Six of October Development and Investment (SODIC) recorded a 203% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its consolidated net profits, logging EGP 225.84 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, compared to EGP 74.51 million, including minority shareholders’ rights. 

The revenues increased to EGP 1.87 billion in the January-June period from EGP 1.26 billion in the prior-year period, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Wednesday. 

As for standalone business, SODIC's net losses narrowed to EGP 84.73 million in H1-21, compared to EGP 172.07 million in H1-20. 

In the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, the company recorded net profits of EGP 100.46 million, up from EGP 30.006 million in Q1-20, including minority shareholders’ rights.
