Cairo – Mubasher: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has upgraded its forecast for Egypt’s real gross domestic product (GDP) growth in 2021 to 3.3%, compared to a previous forecast of 2.5% in April, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported. 

The country's GDP growth is expected to reach 5.2% in 2022 and 5.8% in 2026, the international financial institution said in a report. 

As for the World Bank, expectations for the most populous Arab nation's GDP growth stand at 4.5% in 2022 and 5.5% in 2023.
