Dubai's CPI down 1.5% in September
Dubai's CPI inched down 0.04%

UAE - Mubasher: The Consumer Price Index (CPI) of Dubai declined 1.49% to 101.77 points in September 2021 when compared to the same month of 2020, according to the latest data by the Dubai Statistics Centre (DSC).

The prices of the housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels segment decreased by 8.47% year-on-year (YoY) in September 2021.

Meanwhile, the prices of tobacco and clothing and footwear segments went down by 0.59% and 0.16%, respectively.

On the other hand, the food and beverages, transport, as well as miscellaneous goods and services recorded a rise of 1.15%, 13.84%, and 2.62%, respectively.

On a monthly basis, Dubai's CPI inched down 0.04% in September 2021.
