Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Media Production City Co (EMPC) reported a 307% year-on-year (YoY) leap in its consolidated net profits, logging EGP 95.32 million in the first nine months of 2021, compared to EGP 23.38 million, the unaudited financial results showed. 

The revenues grew to EGP 401.74 million in the January-September period, compared to EGP 319.8 million in the corresponding period a year earlier, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Sunday. 

As for standalone business, EMPC logged net profits of EGP 103.6 million in the nine-month period ended 30 September, up from EGP 54.67 million in the prior-year period. 

During the first half (H1) of 2021, the company posted consolidated net profits of EGP 78.45 million and revenues of EGP 280.65 million.
