Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The net profits attributable to the owners of Aldar Properties increased by 28% year-on-year (YoY) to AED 1.536 billion during the Janaury-September period of 2021 from AED 1.209 billion, as shown by the company's interim financials for the nine-month period ended on 30 September 2021.

The company generated revenues of AED 6.32 billion in the first nine months of 2021, up 8% from AED 5.858 billion in the year-ago period.

The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) settled at AED 0.195 in the first nine months of 2021, versus AED 0.154 in the corresponding period of 2020.

During the third quarter (Q3) of 2021, the company reported a 14% rise in net profits to AED 473.23 million, compared to AED 426.238 million in the same quarter of 2020.

Commenting on the company's performance, the Group CEO of Aldar Proeprties, Talal Al Dhiyebi, said: "We expect to see operating activities across our commercial and retail assets continue to grow in line with the macroeconomic recovery that is well underway."

Meanwhile, Al Dhiyebi added: "Aldar continues to seek attractive and value accretive investment opportunities to grow our portfolio of operating assets and we plan to bring more new developments to the market, driven by our expanding client base, including overseas investors."

It is noteworthy to mention that during the first half (H1) of 2021, the company's net profits attributable to the owners hiked by 35% to AED 1.062 billion, compared to AED 783.46 million in the same period of 2020.
