Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Gulf Bank (EG Bank) reported net profits of EGP 499.52 million in the first nine months of 2021, an increase of 10.13% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 453.54 million, including minority shareholders' rights.
The bank's income from loans and similar revenues grew to EGP 5.68 billion in the January-September period of 2021, compared to EGP 5.59 billion in the year-ago period, according to a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the standalone net profits rose to EGP 507.016 million in the nine-month period ended 30 September from EGP 466.17 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
In the first half (H1) of 2021, the bank posted a consolidated net profit of EGP 320.2 million, up from EGP 304.74 million in H1-20, including minority shareholders' rights.
