Cairo – Mubasher: The net profits of Misr National Steel (Ataqa) soared by 244% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 65.74 million in the first nine months of 2021, compared to EGP 20.24 million. 

The sales increased to EGP 1.7 billion in the January-September period from EGP 1.26 billion in the corresponding period a year earlier, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Thursday. 

In the first half (H1) of 2021, Ataqa achieved net profits of EGP 94.02 million, compared to EGP 19.67 million in H1-20.
