UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Wednesday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.40% to settle at 3,156.85 points by the end of Wednesday's session.

A total of 802.92 million shares were traded through 10,858 transactions valued at AED 820.233 million.

Amlak Finance led the rising stocks with 9.65%, while Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIR) topped the losing stocks with 9.92%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.11% to end Wednesday's session at 8,398.309 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.689 billion after 220.7 million shares were exchanged through 9,376 transactions.

Zee Stores came on top of the green zone with 6.07%, while Al Buhaira National Insurance Company headed the red zone with 9.76%.
