Cairo – Mubasher: The main index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday down 1.34% to 11,277.83 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI dropped 1.17% to 2,058.26 points.

The EGX100 EWI lost 1.29% to 3,020.03 points. Similarly, the EGX50 EWI fell by 1.33% to 1,947.53 points.

The EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 774.84 million after 365.76 million shares were traded, compared to EGP 1.06 billion and 442.89 million shares last session.

The market cap value decreased to EGP 714.27 billion, compared to EGP 721.7 billion on Thursday.

Egyptian investors were net buyers for both securities and bonds with EGP 268.67 million, while Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 85.95 million and EGP 182.71 million, respectively.
