UAE – Mubasher: Hitachi Energy and Yinlong Energy will be partnering with Al Fahim Group’s Emirates Global Motor Electric (EGME), the regional distributor of Yinlong in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), to boost green mobility initiatives in Abu Dhabi.
The partnership aims to turn Abu Dhabi into a more eco-friendly and carbon-neutral city through electric vehicles, as EGME is working on expanding its role for MEA, according to a press release.
Under this tripartite agreement, Hitachi will provide its Grid-eMotion smart charging solution for both public transportation and commercial vehicles to the Abu Dhabi-based EGME.
The three companies are developing a regional tech hub to showcase e-mobility solutions, in a bid to boost sustainable mobility in the region.
General Manager at Al Fahim Commercial Vehicles, Bilal AlRibi, said: “E-mobility is the future of transportation, and we feel privileged to be part of this journey towards a more sustainable future.”
Mostafa AlGuezeri, Managing Director of Hitachi Energy for the UAE, Gulf, Near East, and Pakistan, commented: “With the UAE set to host COP28 in 2023, Hitachi Energy’s commitment to mitigate climate change and integrate more renewables into the grid is more and more evident.”
