UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Wednesday's trading session in the red zone.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.85% to settle at 3,126.29 points by the end of Wednesday's session.
A total of 121.666 million shares were traded through 3,101 transactions valued at AED 211.667 million.
Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIR) led the rising stocks with 13.79%, while Emirates NBD topped the losing stocks with 2.6%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index retreated by 0.71% to close Wednesday's session at 8,398.892 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 1.616 billion after 210.159 million shares had been exchanged through 7,148 transactions.
Aram Group headed the green zone with 14.81%, while Foodco National Foodstuff (FNF) came on top of the red zone with 6.9%.
