Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has offered on Sunday treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 11 billion over two tranches, according to official data.

The first tranche is valued at EGP 2.5 billion and holds a 91-day maturity period until 19 April 2022.

The second offering stands at EGP 8.5 billion and will mature in 273 days on 18 October 2022.

On Thursday, 13 January 2021, the CBE issued T-bills worth EGP 19 billion on behalf of the Ministry of Finance.
