Riyadh – Mubasher: Alkhaleej Training and Education Company has been awarded a SAR 42.26 million contract to implement and operate a call centre for the Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.

Alkhaleej Training signed the contract with the authority on 18 January, which will extend for 12 months from the date of starting the project, according to a recent bourse disclosure.

The call centre aims at providing answers to the taxpayer's inquiries.

The financial impact of the contract will appear during and after 2022. I

t is worth noting that in early November 2021, the company's extraordinary general meeting (EGM) approved a capital raise worth SAR 200 million.
