UAE - Mubasher: The net profits attributable to the shareholders of National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) hiked by eight times to AED 1.002 billion in 2021, compared to AED 106.748 million in the earlier year, according to the company's consolidated financials for the year ended 31 December 2021.

The company generated AED 7.888 billion revenues from contracts in 2021, up 78% from AED 4.424 billion in 2020.

The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) settled at AED 1.26 last year, versus AED 0.19 in 2020.

During the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2021, the company's net profits reached AED 501 million, 86% higher than the third quarter (Q3) of 2021.

Meanwhile, the company announced its plans to acquire new projects and expand its businesses in new countries.
