UAE stock markets close Thursday on negative note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Thursday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.68% to close Thursday's session at 3,152.80 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 225.49 million after 114.81 million shares had been exchanged through 3,628 transactions.

 Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Co (DU) led the rising stocks with 1.4%, while the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) company topped the losing stocks with 4.83%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.079% to settle at 8,728.02 points by the end of Thursday's session.

A total of 232.91 million shares were traded through 6,275 transactions valued at AED 1.34 billion.

Fertiglobe came on top of the green zone with 1.85%, while National Takaful Company (Watania) headed the red zone with 9.62%.
