SAIB registers 8% higher profits in 2021

Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profits of Saudi Investment Bank (SAIB) increased by 8.38% to SAR 1.06 billion in 2021, compared to SAR 979 million in the earlier year.

The bank's net income from special commissions amounted to SAR 2.36 billion in 2021, up 1.64% from SAR 2.32 billion in the previous year, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.

The bank recorded assets of SAR 101.59 billion last year, 1.7% higher than SAR 99.89 billion in 2020.

The earnings per share (EPS) settled at SAR 1.34 in 2021, against SAR 1.25 in the earlier year.

It is noteworthy to mention that during the first nine months (9M) of 2021, SAIB registered 8.5% higher net profits at SAR 775.6 million, compared to SAR 714.4 million in the January-September period in 2020.
